Man with Beard and Glasses

Have you ever noticed that some guys have wonderful beards?! Sometimes I see a man with a gorgeous beard, and I instantly get jealous. There are some things you need to learn about growing a better beard, and if you follow these simple beard growth and beard maintenance tips, you might be able to grow the best beard of your life.

I grew my beard out a little bit just to show that, indeed, I am a man

Watch Your Diet

Your body needs certain vitamins and minerals to stay healthy and strong, so it only makes sense that your beard needs proper nutrition. When you grow a beard, your hair can get dry and your skin can get flaky, which can cause beard itch and beard dandruff. Getting the right nutrients will help to moisturize the hair of your beard as well as the skin below.

Take Supplements

Not everyone is eating super healthy. You may or may not get some of the key nutrients that your beard needs to grow to its full potential. I suggest taking multivitamins to supplement any vitamins and minerals that you may not get from the food you eat. Biotin is also a very good addition to aid for faster beard growth. Biotin helps your hair grow fast, it can also make your nails grow faster, so keep some nail clippers close by.

Increase Testosterone

I think all men would like to increase their testosterone levels. Well, thankfully, you can increase your testosterone, and it's very simple. My lifting weights are the easiest way to increase your testosterone. Go to the gym, pick up the heavy stuff and put it back down. Cardio is good for your body, but lifting heavy weights is the way to get this tip.

Condition Your Beard

Conditioning is part of the maintenance of the beard and maintenance of the beard is important. There are a couple of ways to condition the beard. The best way to condition your beard is to use a product that is specifically formulated for beard care, such as beard oil or beard balm. Look for a product that is all natural and free from preservatives. Look at the list of ingredients and make sure you can understand the ingredients easily. Also, look for products that use essential oils for their fragrance and not for their fragrance.

Your genetics is a major factor in growing a beard. Some people can easily grow an epic beard, and others are struggling to grow a beard. Genetics is one thing you can't change. If you had the money and you really wanted a better beard, then you could try surgery or testosterone therapy, but they might have other unintended side effects, so I'm not suggesting either. Follow the tips above and you should still be able to grow your best beard.
